About the Owner

The web can be a rather impersonal place, so I hope that by reading this page you'll get to know a little bit about me and this site.

The event that sparked its inception was a milestone of my own - my wedding. It was pure excitement from the outset as I researched books, magazines and websites for the perfect ideas. I was well on my way to planning the perfect wedding. The catch? Money.

Working for someone else (and in a small business no less) I wasn't making the kind of money that I needed to bankroll a 400+ person wedding - yikes! As a result, I signed up to become a part-time beauty consultant with a major direct-selling cosmetics company. I am no longer a consultant, but what I found was the ability within me to be my own boss.

My first bridal fair was in January of 2005 and the response was overwhelming. As a one-person effort I knew that I could keep overhead low and offer gifts & accessories at prices to suit the modern shopper. That is where the concept came together. Simplify your life and start an online boutique.
